Compromised Mobility from an Unknown Cause

Azlie Alias, who prefers to be referred to as Ari on the web, is the founder of the word Moojik. Moojik means Wonderful, in an abstract form. Ari is also the founder of the term Moojikulous which means, To hell with everyone, as long as I think its right, it should be!

I really am not sure when and from where I had the pain on my ankle from but I was already in my office wear today when a sudden jerk worsen the condition that I have to get to the doctor.

The pain started on Saturday evening but I ignored it. Then Sunday I was limping and couldn’t walk as fast and practically took each step like forever when I carried the marketing stuff from the carpark up the stairs to my 4th floor apartment. (cheh apartment seh…)

When I woke up today I thought I recovered but I was wrong. It didn’t get swollen like the other time when I snapped my ankle but the stinging pain at the sole and around the hind heel is almost as similar.

Maybe it was due to the shifting but I skipped the explanation and briefly asked Dr Lian, “So what could be the cause?” anticipating an answer from the medical veteran.

“I don’t know….” the doctor said. I was like, “WHAT?” but those words blasted only in my mind.

“I can only assume but for a detailed check up you have to get a blood test.” he added.

“Huh?” That was all I could respond with.

“I’ll give you the kind of medicine that could help but you have to eat first before taking it ok?” the doctor advised.

“err.. ok..” but later on I found that the medication were like off-the-shelf pills that I could get from the polyclinic. I was charged $27 and granted a day off work.

I still do not know how it happened but I do know that GP doctors can be useless at times.
